Find a Neurophysiologist

Neurophysiology is the medical subspecialty of physiology and neuroscience concerned with the functioning of the nervous system. Neurophysiologists use various techniques to study and record the function of the brain, spinal cord, spinal roots, peripheral nerves, and muscles. The results of these studies provide information used to assess, diagnose, and manage disorders of the nervous system, such as epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, Lou Gehrig's disease, and multiple sclerosis. Diagnostic techniques include electromyography (EMG) electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potential tests (EP), and more.
