My first visit there, tbh I wasn’t thrilled to be switching doctors as I had been seeing my GP for abt @ 20 yrs. Unfortunately my insurance changed and he was no longer available in plan etc. I was lucky enough to find Dr. Ho & he was also in the same building!
When needing to make an appt w Dr. Ho they were able to get me in that very day. They were very sweet in the front desk, seeing I knew I had to get a physical and all the paperwork for my new job they needed to fill out etc I planned on coming alone but ended up having to bring my 18 month old son.....& then showed up late ((even tho I was asked to come early to fill out all paperwork)). Let’s be real, a lot of ppl who work these front desks in a way understandably wld not have been very kind or understanding and wld have let me feel their exasperation w their tone and lack of empathy. These women, they all were great w me, very understanding and are just very sweet— And in all honesty, I am a bit of a hot mess 😬. Every appt I have had they are always so pleasant and go above & beyond. Wait time is nothing at all. U go, u let them know ur there n u may wait...3-5 mins. They really seem to wait for u to pay if u have copay etc n then they come n get u.
Dr. Ho himself is soft spoken and from when I have seen him seems like a very kind, patient man. He was so sweet w my son and when I apologized for the lateness that day and for having my son there knowing it wld possibly be a long appt he just laughed it off and said don’t be silly and pointed to the wall where pictures of his family are with his three children and told me he gets it.
Then he has a phlebotomist in office, and she was so very sweet as well. I can’t say enough how every single person in that office is extremely kind, happy, and just make you feel at ease. Then when I went to go use the bathroom there… Absolutely by far the nicest bathroom I have ever seen in a doctors office. I mean it’s nicer than a lot of bathrooms in homes I have been in. Clean, immaculate is more the word and beautifully done. It just shows that he goes above and beyond for his patients then he has a phlebotomist in office, and she was so very sweet as well. Then, when I went to go use the bathroom there....wow. absolutely by far the nicest bathroom I have EVER seen in a doctors office. I mean it’s nicer than a lot of bathrooms in homes I have been in. Immaculate and beautifully done. This may sound silly but it shows pride to me and care in the big n small details of things to be so beautifully done. To me, it just shows that he goes above and beyond for his patients, in all aspects. . . . . .
Then yet again, my insurance changed and unfortunately they didn’t take the new insurance I now was under. One of the women in the office went into the back n went online to research what drs wld be under my new plan and called to see when they cld see me. She came bck upfront and handed me a small paper w info on it explaining that those drs cld see me and how they had all my info already As they all use the same system (?) etc. It was very nice of her n certainly not their job to do that for me. Was greatly appreciated.
Dr. Ho has a nurse practitioner he works w, Lauren, and she is super super sweet. They will have u see her if they can’t get u in w the doc and trust me, she absolutely is more than capable and does a great job.
Bottom line, I absolutely recommend Dr. Ho and his team/office. Every single one that I have met at one point or another, go above & beyond.
