I went to see Dr. Binello for a long, long period of chronic pain in my lower back. I went through about 4 pcp's before i finally found one that instead of labeling me as a drug seeker or just bundling me in with other women in my age group, i was finally being sent for a MRI and low and behold I've been walking around (if that's what you call walking) for over 2 year's with a ruptered L5/S1!!! So my pcp referred me to a Dr at the BIDMC, well once i did my research i decided to research a lot of Neuro-surgeons when I came across Dr. Binello, well after reading a few review's and then meeting with her and her team, I had made up my mind, this is the Dr for me!!! After a full work up and many quick pre op testing we finally got approval from my insurance carrier (long sad story for another day) finally the day had come to get a cage fusion done! I absolutely will never seek another Neuro-surgeon again!!! Dr. Binello did such a great job, i can't even begin to tell you what a great bedside manner she and her staff had for me. I felt like i was her only patient, so after 5 day's in the hospital i was sent home and i didn't have to worry about anything!! PT was set up immediately and a visiting nurse as well to start working on my recovery which only lasted about 4-6 visits and was medically released. Follow-up visit approx 6 weeks post op i was able to walk with no assistance from anything, cane, walker etc. My almost 3 year battle with Drs and pain was finally over! Dr. Binello is the best of the best as well as all her staff. I am now on my road to living again...thank you for giving me my life back Dr. Binello!!
